Saturday, May 19, 5:30 pm–midnight

On June 10, 2017, members of the community came together to eat, drink, dance, bid, and raise over $250,000 for OMCA at the second annual Ziggurat. This year, OMCA’s out-of-the-box gala fundraiser returns on May 19. More than 350 guests will be treated to a memorable evening celebrating Oakland’s art and community, while raising funds that directly support OMCA’s thought-provoking exhibits and community work.

Ziggurat 2018 builds off the energy of the Museum’s dynamic special exhibition RESPECT: Hip-Hop Style & Wisdom. The evening will celebrate the deep roots of Bay Area Hip-Hop by partnering with local musicians, artists, and more.

After dinner—curated by Barbara Llewellyn Catering and featuring prominent local chefs and restaurants—and a live auction featuring unique, experiential packages, the evening will transition to Ziggurat Late Night, where live performances will inspire guests to hit the dance floor!

Tickets to the gala start at $625, and Late Night tickets are $75. Visit Ziggurat on the OMCA website or contact Amy Johnson or 510-318-8502 to learn more.
